On November 10, 2021, Coastal Virginia Magazine had the privilege of honoring our 2021 Giving Back Awards recipients, as well as our 2021 Nonprofit of the Year, Mutts With a Mission at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. It was an evening of celebration with beverages provided by Virginia Beer Co. and food by Mermaid Catering. Attendees snacked on charcuterie boards garnished with prosciutto flowers and an array of cheeses and fruit before making way into the auditorium for an awards ceremony led by our very own Editor-In-Chief, Leona Baker, and Director of Marketing, Lisa Davenport. The event was closed out with a special surprise from our Nonprofit of the Year, which included a sentimental video showcasing the heart of Mutts With a Mission and a parade of pups that wagged their tails on stage as their award was accepted.

See our full list of award recipients here.

Thank you to all of our incredible partners and sponsors, especially Old Point National Bank , Premier Events, Woodford Reserve, Brandon Rowe (cellist and owner of The Window Man) and Virginia MOCA.
