Fall ushers in cooler temperatures, amber-colored landscapes and a new season of craft beers. The light, citrusy flavors of summer IPAs transition into richer, spiced autumnal offerings from Coastal Virginia breweries.

Here are five fall brews that are perfect for enjoying while carving pumpkins, watching Halloween movies or around a toasty firepit. Be sure to visit these local breweries to try more of their seasonal releases.

Back Bay Brewing, Witch of Pungo

Inspired by Grace Sherwood, known as the Witch of Pungo, this beer is brewed with Belgian yeast, pumpkin puree, spices and locally grown gourds.
