The 2021 Coastal Virginia Magazine Best Of Party, held in conjunction with our annual Best Of issue, was a smash-hit at the Founders Inn in Virginia Beach on July 22. Guests came ready party 1920s style in their flapper and dapper best, enjoyed delicious bites from some of our region’s best restaurants and danced the night away to the sounds of popular local jazz band Good Shot Judy. Decor, casino games, a fortune teller, photo booth and more were provided by Premier Events. The party’s “Best Dressed” winner was “Lucky.”
The winner of the evening’s much anticipated best participating restaurant contest was Saté Kitchen, which brought comfort food to a new level with Chef Kyle Fowlkes’ Mac-n-Cheese Eggroll. Thanks to all of our participating restaurants: The Art Institute of Va Beach, Duck Donuts, Fox Tail Winebar, Mermaid Catering, Mobjack Tavern, Oishi Burger, Pelican Pete’s Pizza, Rajput Indian Cuisine, Saté Kitchen, S’mores Amore, and Swan Terrace.
