When the famed breakfast joint broke ground on Virginia Beach Boulevard this summer, it became the third First Watch location in Coastal Virginia. The daytime café originated in Pacific Grove, Calif. in 1983 and now operates over 250 locations nationwide.
Much like its sister bistros in Hampton and Newport News, the Virginia Beach menu boasts the same attention to quality and fresh ingredients as the chain’s first establishment. It also honors First Watch’s dedication to providing diners with the ultimate breakfast experience complete will full pots of Project Sunrise Coffee and complimentary newspapers.
Gracing the menu of the Lynnhaven First Watch are a variety of egg-centered dishes such as omelets, frittatas, sandwiches and tacos, as well classic breakfast cuisine like multigrain pancakes, Belgian waffles and fluffy French toast prepared with First Watch’s house made batter. For lunch, diners can pick from a selection of meaty handhelds, artisan salads and soups.
First Watch prides itself for offering a robust list of healthy alternatives. Fan favorites include freshly squeezed juices, avocado toast, an egg white power wrap and the protein-packed and gluten-free power breakfast quinoa bowl. First Watch also sources locally grown fruits and vegetables, which are sliced fresh every morning.
The Lynnhaven First Watch will open Aug. 20.
First Watch is located at 2850 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach. The Daytime Café will be open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
