A longtime Virginia Beach farmer formerly with Pungo’s New Earth Farm and Farmer John’s Market at Farmhouse Brewery in Kempsville, John D. Wilson, aka “Farmer John,” is the author of a new book called From the Ground Up.
The book is a collection of original columns from Princess Anne Independent News community newspaper as is published its parent company, Pungo Publishing Co. The book “takes readers on a humorous, passionate journey through topics related to healthy eating and sustainable practices,” noted a press release.
