Richmond’s Isley Brewing Company to Open in Virginia Beach

by Grace Silipigni | Apr 23, 2018

After five years of great success in Richmond’s Scott’s Addition, Isley Brewing Company is expanding on beer production with a new location in Virginia Beach's ViBe Creative District. A 5,582-square-foot facility built in 1946 and located near the Oceanfront will become home to Isley Brewing’s second tasting room and brewery beginning in July 2018.

Known for their signature peanut butter porter, the Choosy Mother, the Virginia Beach location will serve a slew of new brews in addition to Isley’s line of flagship beers. Owner Mike Isley hopes to further experiment with kettle sours and goses at the new facility, which is capable of producing 2,000 barrels of beer a year.

Isley Brewing will invest a total of $825,000 in real estate, business property and machinery tools as well as create 10 full-time jobs in the resort area.

Isley Brewing Company’s second tasting room will be located at 315 Virginia Beach Blvd.
