New heights of adventure At Nautilus Observation Tower

As if the adrenaline-pumping ropes courses at Adventure Park aren’t thrilling enough, adventure seekers will soon get to explore the park’s 15-story sister attraction. The Nautilus Observation Tower is spiraling structure that will stand 125 feet tall and be fully ADA-accessible. Nautilus is scheduled to open to the public for year-round enjoyment by the end of the year.

The one-kilometer climb is outfitted with interpretive stations that provide visitors with insight into local wildlife and terrain. Once climbers reach 40 feet in elevation, a Canopy Walk will extend from the tower and entice visitors to explore a half-mile of treetop trails. Also woven into the suspended pathway are four treehouses.

At the summit of Nautilus awaits an open-air observation deck that offers breathtaking views of the city as well as a bird eye’s view of the trails that traverse Owl Creek Landing below. The deck can be accessed via the standard spiral ramp and upon their descent, guests can travel down the stainless-steel slide that weaves through the structure’s interior.
