New Holiday Trail of Lights Opens Nov. 20 in Virginia Beach
After three decades at the Oceanfront, Virginia Beach’s holiday lights tradition is evolving. The city is launching the BayPort Credit Union Holiday Trail of Lights, an all-new, walkable experience that transforms the Virginia Aquarium Nature Path into an immersive wonderland.
Running from Nov. 20 to Jan. 3, guests can leave their cars behind to explore seven interactive, themed areas:
Dickens Drive: Charles Dickens-inspired old-world charm with lanterns and carolers.
Glowing Grove & Snowflake Symphony: A stage of 20-foot lit trees synchronized to music.
Light Fall Forest: Hundreds of lights suspended 35 feet overhead.
Santa’s Stroll: Whimsical, interactive scenes ending at a 40-foot decorated tower.
Flurry Lane: A shimmering canopy of glowing icicles and frosted snowflakes.
Glimmer Games & Toy Soldier Tower: Interactive, illuminated caves.
Enchanted Forest: A woodland path featuring dancing lasers and a one-of-a-kind bubble party.
Tickets are on sale at BeachEventsVB.com.
