More than 2,000 guests sipped and savored at the Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center Feb. 5-6. This year’s WineFest featured 16 Virginia wineries, six distilleries, a beer garden presented by Back Bay Brewing Co. and specialty vendors galore. Our very own editor-in-chief, Leona Baker, crushed it in the annual grape stomp against Holly Williams from BOB FM and Hilltop Distillery was voted Best Distillery Overall and AmRhein’s Wine Cellars had a clean sweep, winning Best White Wine, Best Red Wine and Best Winery Overall.
