On November 9, 2022, Coastal Virginia Magazine staff and special guests gathered at the beautiful Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) to recognize and celebrate our 2022 Giving Back Awards honorees.
This year, Coastal Virginia Magazine selected seven businesses and 15 nonprofits that continuously give back to the region and play an integral role in making Coastal Virginia such a unique and wonderful place to live and visit. The 2022 Nonprofit of the Year, Girls on the Run Hampton Roads, was welcomed to the stage last for an interactive exercise led by Virginia Beach coaches and young Girls on the Run members.
Special thank you to the Virginia MOCA for hosting this event, as well as Premier Events for the décor, Arte Musicale for their string duet performance, Mermaid Catering for the delicious food, Coastal Fermentory (another Giving Back honoree) for providing their brews and, of course, Old Point National Bank for being our official Giving Back Awards sponsor.
