Coastal Virginia Magazine's annual Best Of Party was held on Thursday, July 27 at Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center in Downtown Norfolk. Guests gathered on the red carpet for a vintage Hollywood-inspired evening celebrating the magazine's Best Of Readers' Choice Awards with live music from Bachelor Boys Band, delicious food and fun with ticket sales benefiting the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Virginia.
Fourteen Best Of restaurant winners served dishes at the party, including Rajput Indian Cuisine, Swan Terrace, Sweetwater Cuisine, Volcano Sushi, The Landing, Twisted Sister Cupcakes, Pierce's Pitt Bar-B-Que, Tupelo Honey, Baladi Mediterranean Café, Ruth's Chris Steak House, P.F. Chang's, Vino Italian + Bistro, Roger Brown's Restaurant & Sports Bar and Freemason Abbey. Guests were given golden coins to drop in jars at each restaurant to vote for their choice of the best dish from the evening. Freemason Abbey's She-Crab soup received the most golden coins and was awarded for the best dish.
