The founder, David Dubinsky, a Norfolk firefighter, embarked on this journey in 1983, arriving in Virginia Beach with a vision and $500. By 1985, Jack Frost Firewood, Inc was established, quickly becoming renowned for its premium seasoned firewood and, shortly after, for its high-quality bulk landscaping materials. Dubinsky expanded his business by adding bulk deliveries of screened topsoil, mulch and sand. By 2000, the business had grown into an award-winning company, Jack Frost Landscapes. In 2007, Dubinsky opened Jack Frost Landscapes and Garden Center on Holland Road in Virginia Beach. Over the past 17 years, they have installed creative landscapes and hardscapes, which include many great outdoor living spaces designed by their professional designers.

Whether you have a project for their landscape professionals, a DIY garden project or need bulk materials such as mulch, screened top soil, stone, boulders and compost or you are looking for special plants for your outdoor space, Jack Frost Landscapes and Garden Center is up to the task!
