A recap of our two-day celebration of the finest Virginia wines and spirits
Wine and spirits lovers from across the state gathered at the Virginia Beach Convention Center Feb. 10-11, 2024, for the 10th annual Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest presented by Ashley, America’s #1 Furniture and Mattress Store. The event featured 18 wineries, a cidery, eight distilleries, a beer garden and more than 50 vendors. Attendees enjoyed tastings, food, shopping and live entertainment by Lewis McGehee, the Chris Sacks Band and Colonial DJs. Guests also voted on their favorite wineries and distilleries. Beach Vodka won Best Distillery, Rosemond Vineyards won Best White Wine, Pearmund Cellars won Best Red Wine and Water’s Edge Winery won Best Winery Overall. A portion of the proceeds from advanced Sunday tickets also benefited the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Foundation, who were presented with a giant check to wrap up the weekend.
