The CoVa Cocktail Party was held on Sept. 24 at Beachside Social in Virginia Beach. Guests tasted cocktails using Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal as the main ingredient prepared by 10 of the best mixologists from local restaurants. Attendees imbibed while enjoying appetizers and playing games, including shuffleboard and Jenga.
The party also featured a cocktail competition with prizes awarded for the best drinks. Guests and judges voted for their favorite cocktail crafted by mixologists from Byrd & Baldwin Bros Steakhouse, Fin, Chow, Leone’s Italian, Waypoint Seafood & Grill, Nest, Crudo Nudo, Alkaline and Beachside Social.
The Donna Dolce by Kaley from Leone’s Italian was voted as the best cocktail for the People’s Choice Award. The Cabana Boy by Priscilla from Chow was the first place winner for the Judges’ Choice Award; Colada Royale by Josh from Crudo Nudo was the second place winner for the Judges’ Choice Award; and Luau in Southern France by Tyler from Beachside Social was the third place winner for the Judges’ Choice Award.
