The Giving Back Awards and the Community Impact Awards have merged! Coastal Virginia Magazine’s annual Giving Back Awards are designed to honor organizations and businesses that give back to our community and improve the lives of those who call Coastal Virginia home.
This year, the Giving Back Awards will encompass both nonprofit organizations with a variety of missions—from feeding the hungry to supporting the arts—and for-profit businesses that are making an impact through charitable programs, giving, workforce development, community outreach and more (the latter were previously known as the Community Impact Awards).
Nominators will be prompted to select the appropriate category. The honorees—as determined by our Giving Back Awards panel of experts—will be revealed at a special awards celebration and profiled in our November-December 2021 issue of Coastal Virginia Magazine.
Representatives of nonprofits and for-profit businesses are encouraged to nominate their respective organizations. All organization must be based in and serve the Coastal Virginia region.
The nomination period is June 3–July 30, 2021. The nomination period has now ended.
