Chesapeake’s Cork & Bull Serves Up the Perfect Dish All Day Long

Luxury is the name of the game at Chesapeake’s newest Chophouse – Cork & Bull Chophouse- located in the multi-use development Summit Pointe.  Having been open for just over a year, Cork & Bull has garnered significant attention from young professionals and foodies alike.   Its classic steakhouse feel and extensive bourbon and wine selections assert Cork & Bull as the ideal spot for an elevated lunch experience or a night on the town.

As if the giant bull statue that greets Cork & Bull guests wasn’t enough to put the Chophouse on the map, its selection of premium meats certainly did the trick.  The eatery prides itself on procuring ingredients from local vendors and takes no shortcuts when it comes to beef.  The chophouse serves only Hereford beef, much of which is sourced from the boutique C&B Cattle Company of Suffolk, Virginia.  Cork & Bull diners can savor the delicacy of these meats in the form of a juicy burger and numerous cuts of dry-aged steaks. Steak aficionados can pair their primal cuts with one of the many acclaimed wines in the Cork & Bull collection.

Cork & Bull caters to its less carnivorous patrons too by offering fresh seafood dishes including fish, lobster, shrimp and crab cakes.  Oyster lovers will be impressed by the restaurant’s raw bar.  “Our Oyster selections change almost daily and our servers are versed on the nuances of each selection offered.” Says Shannon Johnson, General Manager.

Cork & Bull has a menu to fit any occasion as well as 3 private dining rooms for those looking to hold a personal celebration or a business meeting any time of the day.  State of the art A/V and White Board TV for multiple satellites to join the meeting.  From an intimate gathering to a prestigious board room setting, Cork & Bull offers a setting that will surpass expectations.

Novice and seasoned bourbon drinkers alike will marvel at the extensive selection of bourbons and whiskeys at the bourbon bar.  Curated Bourbon Flights offer the opportunity to sample a variety of amber-colored pours.  Cork & Bull collaborated with Knob Creek distillery to produce their very own Cork & Bull Knob Creek “Bullheaded” Single Barrel, bottled exclusively for their Chophouse.  Other selections include Virginia Made, Louisville Favorites, Whiskies of the World and more.

No matter what time of day diners are looking for a great meal and experience, Cork & Bull will be ready to welcome them.  Lunch and Dinner are served 7 days a week as well as a generous happy hour beginning at 3pm where they offer the Chef’s oyster selection of the day for only $1 each and select $5 cocktails.  Additionally, during happy hour, you will find reduced pricing on small bites such as hot crab dip, pork belly bites, blackened steak bites and a charcuterie board.

News about upcoming events such as wine tastings and dinners will be found on their website as well as postings on their Facebook page. Cheers!
