Shop & Pop: Where to Buy VA Wine

Try locally owned shops, markets and events when looking for Virginia vino

Pick up Virginia’s best vino at locally owned, specialty bottle shops like TASTE (eight regional locations), Yianni’s in Virginia Beach, Westside Produce & Provisions and Crystal Palate in Norfolk, Great Bottles in Suffolk, and Bon Vivant in Smithfield. Major retailers like Total Wine, Wegmans Food Market and even Virginia ABC stores are also great sources.

Wanna try before you buy? Hit up a wine festival! Coastal Virginia Magazine’s own CoVa WineFest kicks off the season on February 11 and 12 at the VB Convention Center; the Virginia Governor’s Cup Gala takes place at Richmond’s Main Street Station on February 23, followed by the Virginia Wine Expo from February 25 to March 5; and in May, Norfolk holds its Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival.
