Hot Chicken in the House from HCK

Eat HCK Hot Chicken

Nashville style chicken sandwich franchise heating things up

The fast-casual brand HCK Hot Chicken just flew into Coastal Virginia and is already bringing the heat to fans who lined up for the grand opening of the area’s first location on Newtown Road in Virginia Beach. Their top-selling sammie, the Nashville Style Chicken Sandwich, is served on a toasted potato bun with HCK signature GOOD sauce, pickles and house fried chicken dipped in your choice of sauce or topped with coleslaw.

Just before HCK’s grand opening event on Feb. 10, franchise owner Kyle Beaumont, a Navy veteran, stopped by the offices of VistaGraphics, parent company of Coastal Virginia Magazine, and brought along plenty of HCK goodies to share. The sandwiches, wings and crinkle-cut fries with a variety of sauces did not disappoint—both on juicy chicken flavor and on the heat factor.  Menu items can be spiced up at one of four progressively hotter sauce levels including “Base,” “After Burner,” “Angry” and, for the brave of heart, “Medic.”

The restaurant offers in-restaurant dining, online ordering for pickup, delivery through third party partners and catering. There are currently two HCK franchises in Northern Virginia as well as locations in New Jersey, New York, Florida and Texas.
