The Chrysler Museum is encouraging artists to put down the paintbrush and pick up a whisk for the first-ever Great Chrysler Bake Off. A nod to the popular television series The Great British Bake Off, the iconic museum is challenging local bakers to create art-inspired treats for a chance to be crowned the first place winner and recipient of a handmade cake stand from The Perry Glass Studio.
Contestants can compete on social media using #ChryslerBakeOff or during the in-person judging event on Thursday, Dec. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. The esteemed panel of judges include Museum Director Erik Neal and George Culver of I Heart Food. The Thursday evening event includes cookie decorating by TASTE, a hot chocolate bar and plenty of photo opportunities in front of the towering poinsettia tree.
