Celebrating good times with Virginia wines, the Coastal Virginia Magazine 2018 Wine Fest was held Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Vendors included 25 Virginia wineries and cideries, specialty foods and arts and crafts. The festival also included catering from Distinctive Gourmet, a craft beer garden with Virginia breweries, a grape stomp competition between radio personality Some Guy Named Allen and WVEC meteorologist Crystal Harper, live music from Mike Proffitt and Dana Silvercloud, caricature artist Bob Langston and more. Guests received a commemorative wine glass as they enjoyed tastings from wineries. Featured wine and ciders were also available for purchase.
