The annual Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest was a celebration of Virginia wine and spirits, welcoming more than 4,000 guests to the Virginia Beach Convention Center Feb. 11-12, 2023. The event featured 16 wineries, a cidery, six distilleries, more than 50 exciting vendors and beer from Back Bay Brewing Company.
Attendees enjoyed tastings, food, live entertainment by Request Station and Colonial DJs, a grape stomp competition sponsored by Griffey Eye Care and Laser Center and more. Guests voted on their favorites throughout the weekend. Hill Top Distillery won Best Distillery, The Homeplace Vineyard won Best White Wine, AmRhein Wine Cellars won Best Red Wine and Pearmund Cellars won Best Winery Overall.
