Q. Why did you choose family medicine as your practice area and what do you enjoy most about your job? A. Growing up in a family-focused culture, I was inspired to dedicate my life to providing care for other families and helping them stay healthy. I believe family medicine provides a pivotal role in promoting the health and well-being of our community. What I enjoy the most about my job is the long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families. I am proud to provide a quality care to my loved patients and to have positive influence on their well-being.

Q. What are the top three things you recommend to patients in terms of making overall healthy lifestyle choices? A. The following are the three things I recommended to my patients: balanced diet and regular exercise, good sleep and seeing your primary physician at least yearly!

Q. Why are annual wellness exams important and how can patients make the most of these visits? A. To help prevent and detect disease early! Early diagnosis and intervention are the key to enhancing wellness and health. Patients need to be prepared with questions, be honest in sharing their personal and family’s medical history and be forthcoming with their own health.

Q. What is a key challenge you face in offering comprehensive care for your patients? A. Health care policy, slow adoption of new technology and the current workforce shortage can make my job difficult.

Q. Are there any new treatments or technologies that you are particularly excited about in your field? A. I am extremely excited about the new treatments for COVID-19, diabetes, weight control, COPD, hypertension and migraine headaches.
