Virginia Beach couple Richard and Tatiana Watson know that the best presents are personal, so they created a business catered to gifts of love that really mean something. The Watsons recently celebrated five years of running Designs the Limit, an Etsy shop specializing in wedding registry gifts and favors for the entire wedding party. Graphic designer Tatiana starts with a couple's monogram—or any custom design—and uses engraving and sandblasting techniques to etch it into wood, glass, crystal, stone and more.
Some of our favorite products are personalized crystal decanters, wine glasses and bamboo cheese boards for the bride and groom or one-of-a-kind poker or grilling sets that make much-appreciated groomsman gifts.
"We love being in the wedding season and being a part of our customers’ celebrations," says Tatiana. "We believe that every gift giving opportunity can become a personalized gift giving experience when you take the time and make the effort to create a custom engraved gift for your gift recipient. A gift is a canvas in our hands, and we transform items into artwork with the personalized touch."
