When planning a wedding, you need all the help you can get. And, preferably, you want all of that help right at your fingertips.
From protecting your bottom line to finding a custom suit, odds are there is an app or website with the answer. We pulled together some of the top tech resources you can use as you get ready to tie the knot.
Planning
Wedding Planner by The Knot
The Knot has an all-in-one app specifically designed to help plan a wedding. You can learn your wedding style, manage your guest list, find vendors and much more. There are similar apps out there but Wedding Planner by The Knot has the most downloads and a very high rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars.
Pocketbook
Known to overspend from time to time? (Hey—we’re all guilty.) This budgeting app will help you stay within your wedding budget, and reviewers say it’s very user friendly. One feature tracks your spending and another sends alerts for upcoming bills. Once your big day has passed, keep this app handy to track your new expenses as a married couple!
Memories
WedBox
If photography is important to you, check out the WedBox app. All wedding guests can upload photos and videos before, during and after the wedding; the app even lets you create a fun slideshow. The best part is this is a closed forum—so if you don’t want your whole Facebook feed to be a part of your wedding and reception, WedBox is for you.
Etsy
Add a little personality to your wedding day with a few purchases from Etsy. You can search for unique bridesmaids gifts, handmade signs, personalized cake toppers… the possibilities are endless. You can search for pretty much anything and also find merchants who live near you so you can keep your spending dollars local.
Registries
Zola
Zola’s incredible registry service truly has it all for couples to choose from—plus lots of perks. You’ll get a custom URL for your invites. Zola also offers group gifting for honeymoons or home down payments and price matching. (They also unveiled a Zola Wedding app that helps with checklists and other planning needs.)
Amazon
With an Amazon Prime membership, all unpurchased registry items are 20 percent off for 90 days after your wedding date. They also offer a list of who purchased from your registry, making thank you cards a breeze.
Clothing
Azazie
While we always encourage brides to shop local, that can be a little tough if your wedding party is scattered across several states. Azazie offers stylish bridesmaids dresses at affordable prices. Customers can select, order, try on and return a sample dress for just $10. There is also a custom sizing option to make sure the dresses fit your bridesmaids perfectly.
MTailor
We can’t forget about the groomsmen. As with Azazie, this is a life saver for those with long distance friends or family in the wedding party. The MTailor app uses a phone’s camera to measure for a custom fit. Pick out a suit style and color then the groomsmen can use the app to take it from there!
