On Saturday, Aug. 18, the Oceanfront parking lot and tropical interior of Aloha Snacks will transform into a communal venue for the ultimate Hawaiian-style streetfest. Snacktown Breakdown celebrates the arts by showcasing the musical talents of local artists, exceptional craftsmanship of coastal brewers and the culinary mastery of Virginia farmers and Aloha Snacks’ very own Chef Jesse Wykle.
For just $30, guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet loaded with ono grinds from Aloha Snacks, fresh oysters from Ruby Salt Oysters Co. in Cape Charles and a pig roast from Autumn Olive Farms of the Shenandoah Valley. Beers from Commonwealth Brewing Company and Benchtop Brewing will be sold separately.
Jamming out on the Aloha Snacks stage will be bluegrass band, Hackensaw Boys, the multitalented Bennett Wales & The Relief and reggae beats from Rio. Guests may also enter a raffle for the chance to win prizes from Surf and Adventure, a paddleboard from Freedom Surf and more.
Snacktown Breakdown will be held from 3—9 p.m. at Aloha Snacks, located at 501 Laskin Rd., Virginia Beach. Purchase your tickets here.
