Spring Fever at the Norfolk Botanical Garden

Norfolk Botanical Garden Spring

While the Norfolk Botanical Garden is a year-round attraction, spring is when the wildflowers start to bloom, painting the landscape with an array of vibrant colors.

Throughout March, the Botanical Garden celebrates the blooming daffodils with Daffodil Daze, while April is peak blooming month for azaleas. During both months, the Botanical Garden will offer themed classes around those bountiful blooms, including guided walking tours of the gardens and hands-on classes.

April is also when the Online Plant Sale begins on the Norfolk Botanical Garden online store. A variety of plants will be available for purchase including house plants, seeds, specialty succulents, hard-to-find native azaleas and more. The plant sale sold out in 2020 after the event transitioned to an online format to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.
