Forget the days of monochromatic, tightly packed and ball-shaped bouquets only featuring one traditional bloom. Today's florals are all about freedom—think foraged foliage, woodland-inspired greenery and lush and loose bouquets. Here we offer three of our favorite ways to let your arrangements and reception flowers get a little wild.

Gobs of Green
Taking cues from Pantone, who deemed "Greenery" as 2017's Color of the Year, weddings are incorporating tons of natural leaves, foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors in a number of ways. Greenery can be used beautifully on classic white cakes, in garlands of foliage stretching down the middle of tables or as decor in wreaths or on the backs of chairs. Simple sprigs can adorn place settings, or full foliage backdrops can make a statement for ceremony sites or photo booths.

Arches and Hanging Arrangements
While flowers and foliage remain natural and whimsical, there is a trend toward over-the-top installations featuring overgrown greenery and bursting blooms. They may hang from the ceiling or run floor to ceiling, and these attention-grabbing centerpieces bring the romance and wow factor to ceremonies and receptions.

Unstructured Bouquets
The arrangements that modern brides love to carry look organic versus orderly. Popular bouquets are large, loose and incorporate fresh-from-the-garden flowers and subtle and earthy succulents. The more natural, the better, including pinecones, leaves and even rocks and sticks.
