The restaurant located inside the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk has a new name, new look, new menu and even expanded outdoor seating perfect for al fresco dining in Mary’s Garden—a beautiful, sun-dappled courtyard well known to many museum guests. Zinnia is the name of this freshly renovated cafe and special events venue, formerly known as Wisteria, and part of the TASTE Family of Businesses.
Under the direction of Chef Chris Young and General Manager Stephen Brown, Zinnia features modern, regional cuisine and seasonal local ingredients and will offer grab-and-go options during museum hours as well as sit-down lunches from Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and Sundays, noon-2 p.m. Look for elevated salads like the Pesto Caesar or Coastal Cobb, handhelds like the Smoked Salmon BLT or Duck Confit Grilled Cheese, “Boards and Bowls” from charcuterie to poke, and curated wines and local craft brews.
