This June, Power Plant Hampton Roads will debut two new dining establishments inspired by chef, restaurateur and Food Network celebrity Guy Fieri. Each restaurant will serve authentic, Fieri-style eats in casual settings influenced by Fieri’s travels through the world’s best diners, drive-ins and dives.
Bringing Flavortown to the coast are Guy Fieri’s Dive & Taco Joint and Guy Fieri’s Pizza Parlor. “I’ve always loved coming to Virginia to film 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' and most recently to open my Smokehouse down the road in Norfolk at the Waterside District,” says Fieri. “We’re bringing my Dive & Taco joint concept that people are loving in Kansas City and then next door, we’re bringing a real deal, old school Pizza Parlor. You’re gonna dig it!”
At the taqueria, Fieri presents a flavorful line up of signature tacos, classic Mexican dishes and specialty margaritas perfect for the summer months. Handcrafted eats continue next door at the Pizza Parlor where Fieri tosses artisan pizzas baked with housemade dough and sauce.
In response to Fieri’s arrival, Hampton Mayor Donnie Tuck says, “Guy Fieri is a pioneer of finding food that’s fabulous, fun and not fussy. That inspiration is a perfect fit for Hampton—in fact, such a good fit that we will be the site of two of his restaurants. We look forward to being the debut location for Guy Fieri’s Pizza Parlor, as well as the second location of Guy’s Dive & Taco Joint.”
Power Plant Hampton Roads is located at 1976 Power Plant Pkwy., Hampton. Both Guy Fieri restaurants will be located between PBR Hampton and Bass Pro Shops.
