Atlanta-based New Realm Brewing announces plans to take over the building formerly occupied by Green Flash Brewing Company in Virginia Beach. The craft brewery founded by Carey Falcone, Bob Powers and Mitch Steele in 2016 will feature a state-of-the-art taproom, private event room, outdoor beer garden and annual brewing capacity of 40,000 barrels.
New Realm’s leasing of the 58,000-square-foot facility was revealed after the company purchased brewing equipment previously used by Green Flash. The turn-key brewery posed as the ideal opportunity for New Realm to expand their operations beyond their spacious restaurant-brewery hybrid located in Georgia.
“Virginia Beach is a vibrant and growing community that fits well with our culture,” says CEO Carey Falcone. “When the chance to expand in such a great location and facility without compromising our process or our values arose, we knew we needed to seize the opportunity. We look forward to becoming an active part of the Virginia Beach community for many years to come.”
The grand opening of New Realm and its selection of beers on tap will be announced once the brewery obtains the necessary licenses for operation.
New Realm Brewing will be located at 1206 Craft Ln., Virginia Beach.
