There’s a Van Gogh quote that says, “I know nothing with certainty, but the sight of stars makes me dream.” That’s always been how stylist Misty Prewitt has felt about stars, and she brought that idea to life with gorgeous gowns and accessories from Studio I Do for this fashion feature at The Oyster Farm at Kings Creek in Cape Charles.
"I wanted to take the idea of stars, and marry it with a traditional color palette done a little differently," Prewitt says. Shooting at twilight added the soft glow necessary to pull off something out of this world.
This Madison James by Allure Bridals dress takes us back in time. This vintage-
inspired look has a jeweled neckline and a softly ruched tulle skirt with lace details
cascading throughout the bodice and waistline.
This Badgley Mischka bridal gown "Bernadette" is perfect for the modern princess
bride. The unlined, illusion lace bodice features a strapless sweetheart neckline and
is adorned with beaded embroidered appliques that cascade down to the top of the
voluminous full tulle skirt.
